Roaming the fields, forest, and lake around my Granny’s cottage I got to know the little lives going on in a rich, old, ecosystem. In the city, and suburbs, I was always looking for these little living things. In a way, I felt connected to the house “up north” whenever I could spot life in the city because wherever wildness could be, I could be.
